About us
Javoren is the product of a simple idea: to bring together a bunch of scattered code examples to develop unified structured sets that allow for learning without unnecessary barriers. A group of developers who use Java daily observed that many resources are either too theoretical, or too scattered on forums. So we decided to assemble lesson collections that presented every topic in a step-by-step manner, using commented code and demonstrating practice tasks.
Initially, it was just one collection for syntax basics. Then came modules for an object-oriented programming, multithreading, and file operations. Every time a new one was developed, it was run through real-world tasks to continue to make them relevant examples. We're not attempting to gain mass quantity - every lesson is verified to make sure that it is clear and useful.
It all started with email: a draft was sent via email to other colleagues, who emailed back to add feedback or correct inaccuracies, and this process went on for some time, contributing to an evolving system of updates and enhancement — now we read materials quarterly, add new examples or adjust explanations as necessary. Everyone who received a previous round of updates automatically receives updates as practitioners are added.
We do not make online sites or chats available for people to go to. All communication is via email. This enables us to focus on the quality of the material rather than supporting those using a platform. If you have a question about an example or task in particular, write — we will respond within business hours.
All sets are based on one core concept: intro → examples → tasks → summary. Each lesson is structured into modules, allowing you to select what to address when needed. Each module has checklists, templates, and comparison tables. All in one archive, it can be opened on any device.
We don't promise to find quick solutions or a magical path. We just want to point you to the tools that will allow you to create your own projects step by step. You can use the code examples in commercial development, adapt the code, or combine code examples. There are no restrictions.
We don't refer to ourselves as teachers or mentors; we are developers sharing experiences in structured material. Each lesson is streamlined into a real-world project where the development is stripped down to its essence. Our lessons are not filled with fluff; they are based on code, explanations, and practice.
When you are ready to step forward at your own pace - select the needed Packline. All of the rest - emails, updates, support - happens automated. Write if you need help, we are here to make sure the materials work for you.
